Infosys, India's second largest software services exporter, has agreed
to acquire global management consultancy firm Lodestone for CHF (Swiss
francs) 330 million or $350 million. Lodestone is a key player in the
SAP domain and has in-depth experience of transformational change.
The acquisition will lead to addition of 200 clients in Europe.
Infosys held on to cash of $3.7 billion at the end of June. The company's CEO had earlier told NDTV Profit that the company has been preserving cash for potential acquisitions in the future.
