Beirut: Hezbollah's leader made a rare public appearance at a
rally in Beirut on Monday denouncing an anti-Islam film that has
provoked a week of unrest in Muslim countries worldwide.
Hassan Nasrallah does not usually appear in public for fear of assassination. He called for Monday's protests in Beirut, saying the US must be held accountable for the film because it was produced in America.
He was speaking to a crowd of tens of thousands of supporters.
